Networked control centre in the Canton of Tessin
One of the most impressive control centres for the cantonal police and border guard corps is being erected in Tessin. The centre features ten ergonomic workstations for handling all emergency calls and monitoring Switzerland’s external borders. A 24/7 large-screen display with ten LCD monitors also presents all camera images throughout the canton to the border guard corps and ASTRA, the Federal Roads Office.In addition, it gives the emergency services a perfectly networked management and crisis room for use in the future.
