Swissgrid Control Aarau

The Swissgrid network control centres in Aarau and Prilly form the heart of the Swiss transmission network. There all the threads come together.

The employees of the two control centres monitor the network around the clock. They ensure that electricity is transported safely across all parts of the country.

• 30 square metre, earthquake-proof Barco projection screen for the Visualization of network data and alarms
• Control center management software at each of the 12 workstations for the management of the screen and the video, image and data sources
• Building management software for controlling HVAC, lighting and blinds
• Specialist staff room with audiovisual facilities for conferences and connection to the control centre
