Cantonal Police of Aargau

The identification service recording consists of the collection of personal data such as fingerprints, perpetrator's photograph and personal description, which serve to identify a person.

As part of the digitization of the recognition service of the Cantonal Police of Aargau, AVS automated the entire perpetrator's face image system. By modernizing the system, the capacity for the police registration of persons was doubled. The system includes the following system components:

• Professional camera technology for full body and detail photography.
• Dimmable daylight lighting unit.
• Graphical user interface for controlling the entire perpetrator light image system and interface to the recognition service software for data exchange.
